Other celebrations include the Tet (or Lunar New Year) Festival, the Korean Festival and the Arab-American Festival.
  • Crystal Cathedral – Garden Grove has the highest number of churches and places of worship per capita in California and the most prominent being the world-famous Crystal Cathedral, which was founded by Robert H. Schuler, an American televangelist. The Crystal Cathedral is a church building, and a famous landmark with distinctive architecture, where a number of Christian shows are broadcasted, such as the “Hour of Power” television program.
  • “Little Korea” – About 20 years ago, Korean merchants picked a stretch of Garden Grove Boulevard between Brookhurst Street and Harbor Boulevard on which to open businesses that later became The Korean Business District, or “Little Korea,” which has over 1,000 shops and restaurants.
  • Theaters – Garden Grove has three stage theaters: Gem Theater, the Garden Grove Playhouse, and the Festival Amphitheater. Every summer the Festival Amphitheater hosts a Shakespeare Festival.
